" The 10th Harima Rehabilitation Exhibit "

We hosted the 10th Harima Rehabilitation Exhibit on Saturday, September 22, 2018.
Fortunately, the rain that had lasted until previous day stopped and many people visited us this year. With the theme of "PFI prison that moves on with the community", we had lots of events such as annual facility tour, brass band playing, open-air tea ceremony (treating green tea and sweets), balloon art show, dance performance by kids, exhibition of messages from lives, puppet show, personality test, exhibition/commemorative photo of police car, fire engine and ambulance, and various booths etc., thanks to the cooperation of people who live or work in the neighborhood.
We assigned the former Japanese female Olympian of Beijing Olympics, Yuriko Kobayashi who is currently active as a sports commentator, as a "one-day chief of our center" and had her join ribbon cutting ceremony and diverting lottery party this year. In addition, she gave a speech with the title "Hito tono Kizuna(Tasuki) ni Kometa Omoi (Wish contained into bonds) at the juvenile training school, Kakogawa Gakuen located next to the Harima Rehabilitation Program Center.
The "Petting Zoo" was held by the students of Hyogo Prefectural Agricultural High School at a large lawn area of our center and got many favorable comments especially from small children.
